The original intention of this limited edition of Duncan Freehand Zeros was a run of 250 yo-yos. There was a mistake.
They made 1000. 1000 showed up in 80 boxes and we unpackaged all the clear zeros, popped the caps off, and John painted and numbered each one.
This project took over 4 months to complete. 100 Flames were done for the World Yo-Yo Contest, and 100 Stars and Stripes were done for the National Yo-Yo Contest.
There are a variety of designs and they will be available on this site and
Duncan's.
John kept all the magician numbers for his personal collection (11, 22, 33, 44,...etc.).
Randy MacPherson from Arkansas owns #1, and Steve Brown from Duncan owns #0. John made #999 with Mr. Yodel cartoons on a SILVER backround and #1000 with Mr. Yodel on a GOLD background. Six clear
packaged Zeros were set aside, unpainted, and they are the only ones in existence. After painting all the yo-yos they were shipped to China for
repackaging. Time to celebrate spinning.
